Returns & Refunds

Policies

We appreciate all of our patrons and want to offer the most economical options for everyone involved. Our refund and return policy provides the guidelines for which we will accept returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Fine Fragrance

Scent Studio is fully committed to the satisfaction of our customers. Our on-site tester bottles allow clients to try before they buy.  Due to the nature of these products and the legal restrictions placed on the resale of opened beauty products, we regret that we cannot accept ANY returns of Artisan/Niche Products, any opened body products, including lotion, body wash, hair care, lip balm or any of the custom workshop products. Therefore ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Things do happen.  If your item has a defective sprayer bottle or manufacture defects, we will allow an exchange of the exact product within seven days of purchase.

Fine Fragrance Gift Returns

If an Artisan/Niche perfume or workshop product was received as a gift and has a defective sprayer, we can exchange the exact product within seven days. No other conditions will be accepted, only product defects.

If the replacement product is out of stock in-store, the item can be ordered online and shipped.  If a product sprayer stops working after seven days of purchase but before the fragrance is consumed from the original packaging, we recommend transferring that fragrance to one of our Travel bottles.  The customer is responsible for purchasing the travel bottle.

Home Products and Accessories

Home products, including Room Sprays, Candles, wick trimmers, travel perfume containers, and other accessories, will have a 30-day return policy if the product is unopened in original packaging and unused. Once the item is returned to the store, we will issue a refund for the product price to the original form of payment. After 30 days but before 45 days, the unused product can be returned with a receipt, and a store credit will be issued. After 45 days, no exchanges, refunds, or returns are accepted.

Workshop Products

All sales are final on workshop products. If candles are found to be defective and do not burn properly, please return the candle in-store for further investigation. A staff member will determine a solution, or the customer will be issued a store credit or an invitation to attend another workshop of the same value at no cost.
